Twilight Zone!

SUPER excited about my newly thrifted, printed, flooded, $4, Talbots pants!!! Oh yah the material looks amazing in person... The tag says 98% cotton & 2% lycra. However, it has this felt, velvet look going on... Also, if you look at the print for too long it gives you that Twilight Zone, cross eyed effect... :-p

So I sent the fiance a pic to get his stamp and he gave it to me and said, "looks like you, but you are flooding?!" All I could do is chuckle because, the flooding is very intended... If you didn't know, now you know that flooding is now IN! Well, in my world and other fashion forward individual's world... Here you have it, enjoy as always... wink wink

BEHIND THE SCENES PT.2

As you could see plenty pictures were taken with this being my first styling photoshoot! In the photos you will see me putting the color blocked looks together. Also, me putting the jewelry together and passing the finished looks to my bestie so she can apply them to the models. Ashley and Miena (the jeweler) were such great help! Also, on these pics you can get a better look at my look. Enjoy! Wink

Dots on dots, on dots!

This is what I wore to the photoshoot I styled for in Dallas. I had to lead by example and be styled to the "T". I brought my "A" game with the prints on top of prints. So I went with the large white and black polka dotted top over the small black and white polka dotted shorts. I finished the look off by adding some vibrant colors. My fave red blazer that I nearly destroyed with hair oils and my AMAZING kelly green CAMBRIDGE SATCHEL!

Outfit: top and blazer: thrifted, shorts: H&M, bag: CambridgeSatchel.co.uk, can't see my shoes here but they are black studded, python inspired: Dolce Vita

D-TOWN PHOTOSHOOT

Here are the finished looks! These girls came to me with an idea of shooting two different looks. One being a sexy lingerie look and in all black and the other look being a more casual chic look with denim bottoms. With that piece of info I came up with the idea of styling the lingerie with lots of jewelry such as pearls and metal tones. For the second look, I thought of pairing BLAZERS and BANDEAUS together to create a color block effect!

So I supplied all the blazers that the girls are wearing here, didn't really realize I had so many!!! I believe I have about 12-15... Yikes! Okay back to the shoot, since I supplied the blazers I had the girls to supply different colored bandeau tops. It really didn't matter what colors they brought since we were doing a color block look. So I worked with what was given which wasn't hard at all. I also had the girls to supply their own denim bottoms, which I suggested all different kinds. Skinny, wide-legged, high rise, low rise, shorts, etc... This photoshoot was a success and is looking forward to many, many more in the future.

Currently, I have another client that I'm working with and is looking for others to style, so if you have an upcoming event to attend or photoshoot message me on here, FB, Twitter or via email at keeshbrown@yahoo.com

P.S. Professional pics are to come from this photoshoot so stay tuned! *wink

Colour Explosion!

Here is the final look of my vacay in the Chi... On this day we went to the Chicago Bears game, rode the extremely tall Ferris wheel which gave us an amazing view of the city and the sunset. We also took a boat ride on Lake Chicago, to tour the city as well. So I wanted to be comfy and cute so this outfit was perfect this day!

RUDE BOY!

Friday, Day 2 I rocked one of my favorite dresses that I've had for almost 2 years and I still get crazy good compliments on it. This dress reminds me of the leotard that Rihanna had on in her "Rude Boy" video, it's so tribal... Also, I got a new camera so I was testing it out and so far so good!

Outfit: maxi dress: ASOS, fur collar: H&M, jewelry: F21, shades: Urban Outfitters

Pink, Stars and Stripes!

Day 1 of our vacation in Chicago! First picture is me at our hotel giving the feet a brief break. Second picture is me on the Red Line train to our hotel, just happy to be there! More vacay pics coming soon so stay tuned.

Outfit: thrifted pink blazer, H&M top, United Colors of Benneton riding pants, BCBG boots.
***Don't know how Clenard's shoes ended up in the pic... Since they are there I'll share: (Dsquared)

My very own CAMBRIDGE SATCHEL!!!!

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!!! Well folks the time has finally come... I've waited a long 2 months and 10 days for this! I don't know if you guys remember way back when on July 4th in a post called, "PATIENTLY WAITING" it was about a purchase I made online from the UK... Well this is it! These bags have taken the fashion world by storm, literally!

Originally it was supposed to take 30 days to hand make the bag. However, since these bags have been featured everywhere they didn't have the manpower to make each bag within that 30 day time frame. So I called and complained and they ended up refunding the whole amount including the shipping cost *which was a whopping $25!!! Anyway I ended up with the perfect FREE BAG! So if you want to purchase a Cambridge Satchel expect it by Xmas HA!

BTW: they come in all colors and sizes...

Pleated Polka Dots!

Here is what I wore to church yesterday... I thrifted this polka dot pleated skirt a while ago and haven't been able to put it into rotation yet. There wasn't no better time than yesterday considering today is Labor Day and you shouldn't wear white bottoms or shoes after today. Which I don't own a pair of white shoes so I am in the clear there! :-)

Outfit: top: thrifted $3, belt: thrifted $1, skirt: thrifted $7, shoes: Zara, necklaces: (2) F21

Prints on top of Prints

Here is the start of my new venture. I styled my college buddy for her birthday celebration, she was looking for a comfy, chic and inexpensive look for her day. So I took her to a local thrift store and this is what I came up with. I decided to go with separates because it's easier to add a little flavor and personality when you play around with different looks.

The finished and polished look.
Close up of the mixed prints. (Polka dots and leopard)
BTW total look... $11.00 and the belt was FREE!
